Vanderbilt Mansion (Centerport, New York)

“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” (Eleanor Roosevelt)

There are a lot of places to go to in New York, a lot of places to visit. Nowadays, I am more interested of going to places than meeting new people. I think when you work in the Hospitality Industry meeting new people is a constant occurrence that it is no longer vital to you.

I deal with people (and their problems) on daily basis. Small and short talks is my expertise. I used to be very good in public speaking when I was younger, My early exposure lead me to boredom and self absorption. As my sister pointed out, any conversation with me paves a way to the center of the universe, ME. (Ha ha ha)

Life beats you to the ground, steps on your ego and kicks your confidence to the curb. That’s what happened to me. I am no longer comfortable to talk in a group unless it’s my friends. I get bored easily and those awkward moments makes me want to drink more. (Ha ha ha) Note to self: blog about why I don’t drink (alcohol) anymore.

Every day is a new day to tackle. Every day is a chance to change what we can. Every day is a challenge to be a better version of ourselves . Every day is an opportunity to pursue our dreams.

BE PRESENT.

Amateur photography courtesy of my iPhone 5 and taken by my favorite Brother, Nino. Yes, I said favorite. Because I only have one.

I want to go back to the Vanderbilt Mansion and take the House Tour next time. Maybe even wear a nice dress for the perfect photo-op.

Who’s with me?

Keep smiling y’all! Life is good! Xx
